Upbeat Tech offers two evaluation boards built on its ultra-low-power RISC-V platform, helping customers accelerate development from always-on sensing to feature-rich AIoT products.

Each board is optimized for a different development focus:

  • Trina-Pi is designed for ultra-low-power and always-on operation. It is well suited for battery-powered devices that need to monitor sound or sensor data continuously for long periods.
  • Penta-Pi is a more advanced platform for wearables and AIoT development, with broader interface support for display, camera, audio, and external storage in more complex edge AI systems.

Key Advantages

  • Low-power edge intelligence: Trina-Pi delivers excellent energy efficiency at 16.88 uW/MHz/DMIPS, making it a strong platform for always-on sensing and long battery life designs.

  • Unified development workflow: Both platforms support Windows, Linux, and macOS with GCC, OpenOCD, JTAG debugging, VS Code, and a command-line toolchain, reducing effort when scaling across projects.
  • AI-ready software support: Developers can quickly start with CMSIS-NN, CMSIS-DSP, and LiteRT (TensorFlow Lite for Microcontrollers).
